We designed a new fire station in Dallas, Texas, that replaced the previous facility, which had been in the community for nearly 60 years. Station 37 serves the most densely populated three square miles within the Dallas city limits. The 12,000-square-foot building is three times the size of the former building and features a modern design and a number of enhancements. Polished concrete floors, updated and expanded offices, and training and teaching rooms are a few of the upgrades. There are also dining and conference rooms, a laundry room, sleeping quarters, a fitness center, and a kitchen designed around three shift users.
