Holland, an associate vice president and market segment leader in the firm’s Baltimore, Maryland, office, previously served as president of the board of directors for the National Capital Chapter of CMAA for the 2019-2020 term. She has more than 25 years of experience in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry. Holland is a licensed professional engineer in California, Maryland, and Virginia; a Leadership in Environmental and Energy Design (LEED) professional; and a certified construction manager.

“It’s been an honor serving as president of one of the largest chapters in CMAA. Over this extraordinary year, we learned a lot about safe and successful project delivery through a pandemic, and I think we uncovered some of the challenges to our industry raised by not just the pandemic and the economy but the call for social equity,” says Holland. “I’m thankful to my board of directors at the local level and am humbled by the appointment. I look forward to bringing those innovations and sense of urgency to the national board.”

Holland earned a master’s degree in environmental engineering from the University of California, Berkeley (1995) and a bachelor’s degree in systems engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy (1989). In addition to her involvement in CMAA, Holland is a member of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME).
